Ordering Stuff Online

While this is generally the easiest method of shopping, ordering too many things at one time is a real hassle. I’ve had so much trouble in the past month with things I’ve ordered online:

1. Order #1 (containing a book) was damaged. I sent it back for a replacement. I was told that I would be refunded then recharged and the item would be shipped out. Of course the company charged me before issuing the refund, so I ended up canceling the entire order altogether.

2. Order #2 (containing a hard drive enclosure) didn’t work correctly, so I sent it back for a refund. Still waiting on that refund =[

3. Order #3 (containing a new WORKING hard drive enclosure) hasn’t arrived and isn’t showing up in my orders section on the website, but I have been charged for the item and have the receipt. I have to call the company tomorrow since they’re closed now.

4. Order #4 (containing a hoodie) was shipped out and supposedly delivered by FedEx (which I HATE… and not just because I worked for UPS.) The only problem is that they delivered it to the wrong address (which has happened before) and now I have to go through this whole dispute with FedEx to get a refund.

RIDICULOUSNESS!

So the conclusion?

DO NOT BUY MORE THAN 1 ITEM AT A TIME VIA THE INTERNET. WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST ITEM HAS ARRIVED TO ORDER ANOTHER.
